Pandigital’s Second Android eReader from the Pandigital Novel Series is Coming Soon
Pandigital‘s new eReader boasts a 7-inch TFT LCD touch screen, with a display resolution of 800 x 600 pixels and an enhanced user interface, which includes a virtual keyboard that enables typing notes & emails.
It’s powered by an ARM 11 CPU and comes with a 2GB shared internal memory (like the nook), a stylus, and expandable to up to 32GB using a SecureDigital card. An orientation sensor adjusts to portrait and landscape mode with respect to how to hold the device.
The eReader supports PDF & EPUB e-book formats, allows highlighting, changing fonts and creation of multiple bookmarks, comes with built-in dictionary and internal (within e-book) search function and night-read mode which brings up visual changes for no-light reading.
Like its predecessor, the new Pandigital Novel eReader also comes with integrated Barnes & Noble eBookstore. It will be available at several national retailers next month and is backed by a one year limited warranty. Pandigital Novel 7-inch Color Multimedia eReader is available at Walgreens for $149.99 after $10 mail-in rebate.
